Balakrishnan instead of B.Rajesh Prabhu and also in the column titled name as B.Navaneeh instead of R. Navaneeth issued by the respondent vide Registration No. 2011/ 02/ 015/ 001604 dated 7.12.2011 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2025 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Honble court.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to incorporate the names of the father of Navaneeth in the column titled name of Father as S. Balakrishnan instead of B.Rajesh Prabhu and also in the column titled name as B.Navaneeh instead of R. Navaneeth issued by the respondent vide Registration No. 2011/ 02/ 015/ 001604 dated 7.12.2011 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2025.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner got married to one B.Rajesh Prabhu on 01.11.2009 and through him the petitioner had begotten one son viz., Navaneeth on 28.10.2011. On 18.09.2014 the said Rajesh Prabhu died. After his demise, the petitioner got remarried to one Balakrishnan. The petitioners son Navaneeth is now studying 9 th standard and he is aged about 1 years old. Under these circumstances, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to incorporate the name of the father of Navaneeth in the birth certificate as S.Balakrishnan instead of B.Rajesh Prabhu and also to change the initial of Navaneeth. The same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may
direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
