The parties were referred to the mediation centre and by settlement dated 15.09.2025, the parties have reached an amicable settlement, in terms of which quietus has been given to several proceedings pending between the parties. The settlement agreement also records payment of sum of Rs.5,00,000/- towards full and final settlement of all claims of the wife. The articles have also been exchanged and nothing remains and accordingly, cases have also been withdrawn and FIR has also been quashed. The parties under the settlement agreement have agreed to divorce by mutual consent.

In view of the fact that the parties have fully and finally settled the disputes and they have also proceeded to file H.M.O.P.No. 716 of 2025 to dissolve the marriage by mutual consent, it is not necessary to increase their agony, by calling upon them to wait for a further six months. The parties have separated for more than one year. Hence, I had called for the original records pending in H.M.O.P.No. 716 of 2025 on the file of the Family 2/4
