This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "to call for the records in the impugned proceedings in No.W2/1362/2014/GA dated 19.07.2024 by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same consequently direct the respondent to settle the retirement benefits and pay pension."

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. With the consent of both parties and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions:- (a) The respondent/Port Trust shall pay a sum of Rs.175,904/- to the petitioner on or before 22.07.2025.

(b) The petitioner is at liberty to move an application to work 2/4

out his remedy in the manner known to law.

4. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
