O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR, J.,) When the captioned main 'writ petition' {hereinafter 'WP' for the sake of brevity, convenience and clarity} was filed on 16.09.2020, there was lone writ petitioner namely, Mr.K.Hari Krishnan, Son of Kuppusamy. Pending writ petition, Mr.K.Hari Krishnan died on 27.01.2021 leaving behind his two daughters as legaheirs.
2. Mr.T.Annaa Malai, learned counsel on record for petitioners in 'Writ Miscellaneous Petition' {'WMP'} submits that the Death Certificate dated 23.02.2021 and Legal Heir Certificate dated 14.02.2022 have been annexed. We have perused the same.
3. Issue notice to official respondents.
4. Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for R1 to R3 and very fairly submits that verification is necessary.

5. We find that the Death Certificate issued by the Chennai Corporation and Legalheir Certificate issued by the jurisdictional Tahsildar have been placed before us and both are copies downloaded from the official website and QR coded. Therefore, the question of verification considering the innocuous nature of prayer does not arise as learned State Counsel has not raised any specific disputation.
6. As regards R4, he has been duly served in the main WP, name is shown in the cause list but has not chosen to come before this Court either in person or engage a counsel. Therefore, we dispense with the notice to R4 in the captioned WMP making it clear that all rights and contentions of R4 will remain preserved and this order will not impact the rights and contentions of R4.
Captioned WMP ordered as prayed for. Registry is directed to carry out necessary and consequential amendments before next listing which will be a fortnight hence.
List the main WP on 22.09.2025.
