The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1) and 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.566 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is the manager of Lotus Ayurvedhic and Saloon at Krishnagiri. 3.It is stated that A1 is the owner and he is still absconding. At that particular saloon, four victim women had been rescued who had been lured into the trade of prostitution.

4.A counter affidavit had been filed by the respondent. They had also seized various articles as seen from the list. The statement of the victims had also been recorded. It is also stated that amounts of money were involved. 5.Taking all these factors into consideration since A1 is the person who is in-charge of the day-to-day affairs of the saloon and the day-to-day affairs appears to be running a prostitution network, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
