ORDER

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Ilamvaludhi, learned counsel for the petitioner represented that the petitioner wanted to withdraw the above writ petition and in order to withdraw the same, he has directly sent a letter to the High Court of Madras, vide letter dated 13.12.2007 and the same is found in the Government Pleader's bundle. There is no record to show that the said letter has been sent to High Court. Taking note of the submissions of the learned counsels of the petitioner and the respondents, in the light of the representation through the letter dated 13.12.2007, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected M.P.No.20678 of 2004 is closed. No costs.
