ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2023 consequently direct the respondents to provide any job to him based on his education qualification based on compassionate ground due to death of his father on 28.11.2012.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's father was working as Helper in the Electrical Section under the first respondent and he died on 28.11.2012. The petitioner's mother pre-deceased on 14.01.2011. The petitioner was under the custody of his grand mother and he was minor at the time of his father's demise. Now, he had attained the age of majority and submitted an application seeking appointment

on compassionate ground.

4. After a period of twelve years, it cannot be said that their family is in distress condition and the case of the petitioner cannot be considered for appointment on compassionate ground.

5. Therefore, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
