3. The petitioner is working as a Boat Driver in the second respondent Corporation and he joined the duty on 03.05.1993 on temporary and ad-hoc basis with effect from 01.04.1993. Thereafter, on 31.07.1998 the petitioner was transferred from Karaikal and posted to Chunnambar Boat House Pudhucherry. Thereafter again the petitioner was transferred to Karaikal. Challenging the impugned transfer, he made a representation to the second respondent Corporation on 08.06.2004 and 13.06.2004. Aggrieved by the inaction of the second respondent, for not taking steps on his representation, the petitioner filed the present writ petition challenging the transfer order passed by the second respondent Corporation.

4.The writ petition was filed in the year 2004 and nearly 13 years have elapsed and the subsequent development was also not reported before this Court. Hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the second respondent Corporation. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed, as nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
