This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard Mr.T.Mohan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime Nos.429 of 2022 and 144 of 2023 and investigation is pending on the file of third respondent.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police. 2/4
