Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to pass an order to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 25.09.2023 passed in WP.No.4143 of 2013.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 25.09.2023 passed in WP.No.4143 of 2013, thereby the first respondent herein was directed to pay full pension by calculating the petitioner's total qualifying service as 30 years and disburse the arrears with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The first respondent was also directed to continue to pay the full pension to the petitioner.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the order passed by this Court on 25.09.2023 in WP.No.4143 of 2013 has been complied with by the first respondent.

3. In view of the above submission, this contempt petition is closed. 2/4
