ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 336, 397, 506(2) and 4 of TNPPD Act in Crime No.417 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant one Kamarajar is that, on 27.08.2018 at about 08.00 am, when the defacto complainant was working in front of one Vinayaga Battery Shop, which is situated at Arumbakkam Poonamallee Road, the petitioner had waylaid the defacto complainant and had demanded money under a knife point and had robbed a sum of Rs.1,100/- from him. Hence, the complaint.

3. This is the second anticipatory bail petition. An earlier anticipatory bail petition was granted by this Court in Crl. O.P. No. 12141 of 2024.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner could not comply with the conditions and hence he has preferred the second anticipatory bail petition.

5. Learned Government Advocate submits that the final report has not been filed.

6. This Court is of the view that second anticipatory bail is not maintainable. However, the time to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.12141 of 2024 is extended by two weeks, on payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to the Advocates' Clerk Association.
