ORDER

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to make measurement and mark its boundaries in so far relates to the petitioner's land measuring to a total extent of 65 1/2 cents situated in S.No.89/9, Navanari Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District.

2. Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property comprised in S.No.89/9, to an extent of 65 1/2 cents situated at Navanari Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District.. This being so, the petitioner made an online application dated 07.12.2024 before the respondents to measure and demarcate the boundaries of the aforesaid land along with relevant documents and requisite fee. However, no survey was conducted. Hence, the petitioner has sent a 2/6

representation dated 09.12.2024 to the respondents, however, the said representation was also not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 07.12.2024 to measure and demarcate the boundaries in respect of aforesaid petitioner's land.

5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner's online application dated 07.12.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel 3/6

for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to measure and demarcate the boundaries, in respect of aforesaid petitioner's land, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction being created by third parties, the second respondent is at liberty to approach the Police officials, in which case, the Police officials shall render assistance to the second respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise.

8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
