ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to disburse a sum of Rs.3,51,741/- with interest in pursuance to the repair of battery operated vehicles.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused all the materials placed before this Court. 3.

The respondent invited tender for the financial year 2022-2023 for maintenance of 27 battery operated vehicles for collection of garbage in Chengalpet Municipality on 28.12.2022. The petitioner was being the successful bidder, the respondent issued order to maintain the battery operated vehicles and accordingly, the work was commenced. The petitioner had completed repair works of all battery operated vehicles and raised bills to the respondent. However, the petitioner was not paid so far to the tune of Rs.3,51,741/-. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representation on 28.11.2023 and so far, it was not considered and the same is pending with the respondent.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to disburse the amount as per the bills raised by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
