This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.

This case is registered in Cr.No.52 of 2010 for alleged offence under Sections 363 and 376 of Indian Penal Code. This is a heinous case of rape. The occurence had happened in the year 2010. It is stated that the victim/defacto complainant was in love with the accused's friend. Under the pretext of this, the defacto complainant was made to come to a secluded place where the accused is said to have committed the rape on the defacto complainant. mpl address is untraceable and warrant is pending all these years. Upon the matter being adjourned on the last occassion, the police on verification submits that the defacto complainant is also not traceable in the address. 3.In view thereof, no useful purpose will be served keeping the matter pending. Accordingly, the proceedings in PRC.No.700004 of 2013 of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Krishnagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri is quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
