CORAM:
THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY Suo Motu TR.No.17089 of 2025 (CC.300613/2017 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Alandur Taluk, Chengalpattu) For Petitioner : Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar Government Advocate (Crl.side)
ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.This case in Cr.No.435 of 2017 dated 16.04.2017 was registered for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It is reported that the defacto Complainant is presently not traceable and the Accused is attending the proceedings regularly. 3.Considering the nature of allegation, the antecedents of the accused, it is evident that even if the accused continues the face trial, it would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial. Due to the passage of time, a meaningful trial is unlikely, and no useful purpose would be served. Page No.1 of 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
