PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.59 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame.

This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.59 0f 2021 and to file a final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2.When the matter came up for hearing on 02.01.2024, this Court had passed the following order:
It is seen from records that the FIR was registered in Crime No.59 of 2021 and this FIR was put to challenge by the accused persons in Crl.O.P.No.15827 of 2021. This quash petition was dismissed by this Court by an order dated 15.02.2023 and a direction was given to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report as expeditiously as possible. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks for some time to take instructions on the stage investigation.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the status report of the respondent. On going through the status report, considering the facts of the case and the documents to be verified, the respondent has sought for some time to complete the investigation. The respondent has also taken a stand that the investigation is proceeding in an impartial manner and in accordance with law.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the status report filed by the respondent, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
