This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 197 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case against the order dated 29.11.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No. 14394 of 2024 in S.C.No.206 of 2023, on the file of Magalir Neethimandram, Chennai.
2. Mr.R.Vivekananthan, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that due to lack of legal knowledge, the petitioner is not able to instruct counsel on record to prefer the above Criminal Revision case and only during month of September 2025, he gave papers to him, as a result of which, there is a delay of 197 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case arose, which is neither willful nor wanton. Therefore, he filed this petition to condone the delay in filing the above Criminal Revision Case.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, and the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit seems to be justifiable one, this court is inclined to allow this petition.
