Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 09.10.2023 and survey the land situated in Survey No.219/2B to the extent of 2470 sq.ft situated at Plot No.38, S.T.Perumal Nagar Annex, Old Tirupachur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk, and District and lay the boundary stones.

The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking mandamus to the first respondent to consider and dispose the petitioner's application dated 09.10.2023 and to conduct survey the land situated in Survey No.219/2B to the extent of 2470 sq.ft situated at Plot No.38, S.T.Perumal Nagar Annex, Old Tirupachur Village, Tiruvallur Taluk, and District and lay the boundary stones.

2.The petitioner would submit that he has made an application dated 09.10.2023, to conduct survey of his property and lay the boundary stones. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to conduct survey of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the property and the respondent shall, after issuing notice to the respondents 2 to 4, adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and laying the boundary stones or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
