ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 306 of BNS Act in Crime No.130 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that while she was working as house keeper in the defacto complainant's house committed theft of Rs.40 lakhs. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent person and she has been falsely implicated in this case and she has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that she is the one who took away Rs.40 lakhs and she is absconding and hence they were not able to recover the money and also submitted that investigation is still pending.

5. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, and taking note of the fact that the investigation is still pending and the money not yet recovered, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
