Respondent Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 against the respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Tr.CMP No.1081 of 2022 dated 21.12.2022.

O R D E R

The respondent undertakes that he will continue to pay the interim monthly maintenance of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to the two minor girl children and the maintenance amount will be paid to the account of the petitioner, who is the wife of the respondent.

2. In the event of failure on the part of the respondent in making payment of interim monthly maintenance, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Chief Engineer, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, who in turn shall take necessary steps to ensure that the interim monthly maintenance amount ordered by this Court, has been punctually paid to protect the life and eduction of two minor girl children.

3. With reference to school fees, the respondent-in-person made a submission that he has other commitments and will be in a position to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) annually to meet the educational expenditure of the two minor girl children, studying VIII and V

Standards respectively.

4. The interim maintenance and the interim arrangement to pay the school fees, as ordered by this Court, is not a bar for the petitioner to claim further maintenance and further expenditure from the Family Court, where the cases filed by the petitioner and the respondent, are pending.

5. The petitioner has no objection to provide visitation right to the respondent to visit the two minor girl children in her residence at any time. Therefore, the respondent is at liberty to visit the two minor girl children without causing any harm and disturbing their education.

6. With the above liberty, the present Contempt Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 25-04-2024 Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No Speaking order/Non-Speaking order Svn
