ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned transfer order dated 12.09.2025, signed on 16.09.2025 and consequently directing the 1st respondent to allow the petitioners to continue as Tutor- Marton and B.T. Warden in their respective Hostels.
2. In view of the petition filed by the 1st petitioner, namely, V.Shanthi in WMP No.3849 of 2026, which was ordered by this Court on 06.02.2026, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, in respect of the 1st petitioner, namely, V.Shanthi.
3.The case of the petitioners is that they are working as Warden and Tutor-Warden in the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department and both have been transferred to distant districts of Kancheepuram and Tuticorin vide common transfer order dated 12.09.2025, signed on 16.09.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the 1st petitioner, namely, V.Shanthi has already withdrawn the writ petition, and in
respect of the 2nd petitioner, namely M.Sankara Sabapathi, this Court may permit him to make a representation for re-transfer to a convenient place and issue a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court. 5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court, directs the 2nd petitioner, namely, M.Sankara Sabapathi to make a representation to the 1st respondent within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such representation, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the 2nd petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four
(4) weeks thereafter. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
