This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2022 for issuance of Patta in favour of the petitioner in respect Page No.1 of 5
of the property comprised in Survey No.186/5A in Arumbakkam Village, Arkkonam Taluk, Ranipet District.

Since the respondents have not followed the directions of this Court passed in W.P.No.23333 of 2022, dated 05.09.2022 and the Circular issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration vide Circular No.R1/2005632/2022, dated 17.07.2023, to dispose of the application/revision/representation/appeal within a period of six months, this Court by order dated 10.01.2024, directed the second respondent to appear before this Court on 22.01.2024.

On the last occasion, the second respondent appeared before this Court and gave an undertaking that he will consider the representation dated 31.10.2022 of the petitioner and also he will carry out the survey on the petitioner's land. After that, the second respondent had followed this Court's order and passed the final order dated 19.01.2024 and the same is produced before this Court.

Therefore, since the representation of the petitioner dated 31.10.2022 was considered and the final order has also been passed on 19.01.2024 by the second respondent, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. The second respondent has also appeared before this Court.

The copy of the order dated 19.01.2024 passed by the second respondent is served on the petitioner also, before this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order dated 19.01.2024, he can avail the alternative efficacious remedy in a manner known to law and he can challenge the order before the Appellate Court, if he is so advised. 6.
