Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider my representation dated 14.08.2025 and to take appropriate action by removing the encroachments which are blocking the exit and entry of the School Teachers, Students and Publics into the School premises, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) Prayer sought herein is for a writ of mandamus to direct respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2025 and to take appropriate action by removing the encroachments which are blocking the exit and entry of the School Teachers, Students and Public into the School premises, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. In Vellore - Odukathur State Highway, where the petitioner School is located, the private respondents have put up permanent structures for commercial transaction, by thus, the road margin has been considerably reduced and the ingress and egress of the Teachers and Students of the petitioner School is highly affected. Therefore, in order to remove such encroachment, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard Mr.P.Sankaranarayanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.M.Jayanthy, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4. In view of the order that is going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to respondents 5 to 7 is hereby dispensed with.

The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that, if any encroachment is made on the State highways or on any other Government land by the private respondents or any third parties, by thus, the ingress and egress of the general public, which includes the Teacher and Students of the petitioner School, is getting affected, certainly, action would be taken against those encroachers in accordance with law and to that extent, the representation given by the petitioner dated 14.08.2025 would be considered and a decision would be taken thereon.
5. The said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Official respondents is recorded and in view of the same, there shall be a direction to the Official respondents, especially respondent 4 to take action on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2025, of course, by
giving notice to both the petitioner as well as the private respondents under the provisions of Law, which governs the area in which the alleged encroachment has been made by the private respondents or third parties and such action could be complied within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
