PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.10.2023 in accordance with law by providing three cents house sites to the petitioner parity with similarly placed hut dwellers of Vinoba Nagar Colony adjacent land bearing Survey No.124/2 and 102/2, 98, Periapalayam Road Area, Pakkam Village at No.86 Thiruvalluvar District. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 3 and 4 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 27.10.2023 in accordance with law by providing three cents house sites to the petitioner parity with similarly placed hut dwellers of Vinoba Nagar Colony adjacent land bearing Survey No.124/2 and 102/2, 98, Periapalayam Road Area, Pakkam Village at No.86 Thiruvalluvar District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government appearing for the respondents.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2023, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
