Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 11.12.2024 and 19.03.2025 and to issue patta to the petitioner for his land situated at Plot No.2, Door No.1/3 Venkateshwara Avenue, Sabari Nagar, Porur, Chennai - 600 116, comprised in S.No.51/2 in an extent of 3087 1⁄2 sq.ft. situated in Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai District - 600 116. 1/5

With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 11.12.2024 and 19.03.2025 and to issue patta to the petitioner for his land situated in Porur Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Chennai.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid property, the petitioner made representations to the second respondent, since, the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, the present 2/5
Writ Petition is filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate for respondents fairly submitted that the representation made by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time as stipulated by this Court.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the Representations, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations in a time bound manner.
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 11.12.2024 and 19.03.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt 3/5
of a copy of this order. No costs.
