Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2023 regarding to empanel the name of the petitioner in the panel approved by first respondent on 24.02.2017 in the appropriate place therein and to promote him with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of his immediate junior with consequential benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2023 regarding to empanel the name of the petitioner in the panel approved by first respondent on 24.02.2017 in the appropriate place therein and to promote him with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of his immediate junior with consequential benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
