JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was authored by R. SURESH KUMAR, J.) This intra-Court appeal has been directed against the order passed by the Writ Court dated 23.07.2024 made in W.P.No.1984 of 2024.
2. The writ petitioner sought compassionate appointment after several years of the death of his father, who is the deceased Government servant. The reason being that, at that time, originally when the Government servant died, the writ petitioner was a minor. The application submitted by the mother of the writ petitioner was rejected as early as on 23.01.2014. However, the same has been challenged after ten years before the Writ Court in the year 2024. Therefore, on the ground of ineligibility as well as on the ground of latches, the learned Single Judge did not interfere with the impugned order before the Writ Court and dismissed the writ petition through the impugned order.
3. Having gone through the facts of the case, we are also not inclined to entertain this writ appeal, directed against the order passed by the Writ Court, as we do not find any plausible reason to interfere with the same.
4. Resultantly, the writ appeal fails and stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
