ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner to revoke the order of suspension.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was initially appointed as Assistant and subsequently promoted as Sub-Registrar. When he was working as a Sub-Registrar, he was suspended from service on 04.10.2021 and subsequently, he was served with a charge memo dated 27.12.2021. Now, the enquiry has been completed and the final order is yet to be passed by the first respondent. The petitioner submitted a representation to revoke the suspension order, on the ground that he is facing prolonged suspension.

4. A perusal of the charge revealed that it is serious in nature and as such, he was suspended from service. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered, since already the enquiry has been conducted and final order is yet to be passed.

5. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to pass final order, after

issuance of show cause notice to the petitioner along with enquiry report, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
