O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.3626 of 2023 on the file of the learned II Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 06.01.2025, I called for a report from the learned II Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to state as to how long he requires to dispose of O.S.Nos.3626, 2248 & 2907 of 2023.

3. The learned II Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai has sent a report stating that O.S.Nos.3626, 2248 & 2907 of 2023 are listed on 28.01.2025. In O.S.No.3626 of 2023, I.A.Nos.14, 16 & 17 of 2024 are pending for orders and I.A.Nos.18 & 19 of 2024 are pending for filing counter by the 1st respondent. In O.S.No.2248 of 2023, I.A.No.2 of 2023 is posted for taking steps. In O.S.No.2907 of 2023, I.A.Nos.3 & 4 of 2023 are pending for orders. Therefore, the learned Judge requests three months time to dispose of all the three suits. 2/4

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned II Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of O.S.Nos.3626, 2248 & 2907 of 2023 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
