ORDER

This Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate and immediate police protection to the petitioners and their family members, enabling them to reside peacefully with dignity.

2. The grievance of the petitioners is that the petitioners have purchased the property on 30.05.2025 and previously the property was owned by one Padmini. The said Padmini has sold the property to one Duraisamy, thereafter, both of them entered into a cancellation deed on 5.02.2025. Accordingly, the property revert back to Padmini and thereafter, the petitioner has purchased from the said Padmini. When the matter stood thus, the said Duraisamy said to be a money lender, trying to interfere with the possession and in this regard, the said Padimini lodged a complaint on 30.05.2025, the petitioners have lodged three complaints on 19.06.2025, 14.08.2025 and 25.08.2025, however, no action has been taken by the respondents, hence the petitioners have come up with the present petition seeking police protection. 2/4

3. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh complaint and the same will be dealt with in accordance with law.

In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to give a complaint for alleged tress pass over the property and on the basis of the complaint, the respondents are directed to enquire the matter and if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondents are directed to proceed as per law.
