When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is submitted by Mr. D. Ravichandar, learned Special Government Pleader that the petitioner (respondent in Contempt Petition No. 3090 of 2024) is not holding the post of Secretary of Higher Education Department as on date and therefore, is not in a position to take steps to comply with the orders dated 11.09.2023 passed by this Court in W.P. No.2530/2015.

2. Mr.K.Gopal, I.A.S, is stated to be now holding the post of Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, and he is suo moto impleaded as the second respondent in Cont.P. No. 3090 of 2024. Mr. D. Ravichandar, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the impleaded second respondent and seeks time for getting instructions.

3. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause list and list the main contempt petition on 10.01.2025. The further appearance of the first respondent is dispensed with. 20-12-2024 bga Page No.2 of 4
