O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed consequent to an order of this Court dated 06.11.2023 in W.P. No. 26367 of 2021.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that as a writ appeal in Writ Appeal No.346 of 2024 on 06.11.2024 filed challenging the order passed in Writ Petition No. 26367 of 2021 was dismissed and thereafter, an SLP filed challenging the order passed in the writ appeal was also dismissed on 20.11.2024, orders passed in the writ petition has been complied and the pension together with arrears of pension has been paid and credited to the petitioner's account on 27.02.2025. In order to substantiate the same, the pension slip for the month of February 2025 has also been enclosed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent did not comply with the order within the prescribed time limit and the matter was dragged up-to the Supreme Court and the petitioner was made to face the litigation till Supreme Court and now is being paid with only pension amount without paying interest and the compensation and cost.

4. To be noted that the orders passed in the writ appeal and the SLP did not include the claim of the petitioner towards cost or

compensation.

5. As such, the orders passed in the writ petition has been complied. If the petitioner is aggrieved due to the action on the part of the respondent for delaying the payment she can file fresh proceedings for seeking interest for the delay.

6. With regard to the rest of the claim, this Court cannot extend the scope of the order already passed in the writ petition.

7. In view of the above observation, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
