ORDER

This criminal original petition was filed for a direction to the respondent police to withdraw the lookout circular issued during the pendency of the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2023.

2.When the matter came up for hearing on 4.1.2024, this Court passed the following order :

In view of the fact that the proceedings itself has been stayed by this Court in Crl OP No.21043 of 2023, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for withdrawal of look out circular.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police will act upon the stay order and take steps to withdraw the look out circular. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, seeks for some time.

3. Post this case on 11.01.2024 under the caption for "Reporting compliance".

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore District through communication dated 12.01.2024 has informed the Joint Director of the Bureau of Immigration that the lookout circular issued against the petitioner is being withdrawn in view of the stay of investigation by this Court in Crl.OP.No.21043 of 2023.
