ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer in the petition itself is so absurd that petitioner wants 62.57 acres of land spread over several survey numbers at Annamalaihalli Village be classified as a lake.
2. The fact that petitioner wants the place to be classified as a lake
itself means that petitioner admits that there was no lake. Therefore, a mandamus cannot be granted.
3. Petitioner also states that there are encroachments on the survey numbers mentioned in the prayer.
4. Mr.Prabakar states the representation dated 29.4.2022 of petitioner, copy whereof is annexed to the petition, will be disposed in accordance with law within three months. Statement accepted.
5. Before passing any order on the representation, personal hearing be given to petitioner as well as private respondents. Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
