Heard Mr. S.Nagarajan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. B.Vijay, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First to Third Respondents and Ms. Rajarajeswari, Learned Counsel appearing for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First Respondent to consider the representation dated 03.10.2023 made by the Petitioner and to take necessary action against the Fifth Respondent based on the enquiry report of the Second Respondent in Na. Ka. No. 144/2023/A1 dated 19.06.2023. 3.

In response, the Third Respondent has filed a memo dated 12.01.2024 in which it has been stated as follows:- 2/5

It is submitted that the 3rd respondent has conducted field inspection pursuant to complaint made by the petitioner. The 1st respondent has directed the 2nd respondent to conduct inspection and enquire on the permissions granted by the Local Body.

It is submitted that the Competent Authority has already initiated action by invoking Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act."

In view of the same, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
