This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking for extension of time to complete the investigation and to file the final report. 2.

This Court while disposing of the Criminal Original Petition directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file the final report or the closure report as the case may be within a period of three months. 3.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of investigation nearly 47 witnesses were examined and their statements were recorded and 85 documents were relied upon. In view of the same, some more time is required for the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in this case.

Considering the reasons assigned in the petition, this Court is inclined to extend the time for a further period of three months to complete the investigation and to file the final report or the closure report before the concerned jurisdictional Court. 5.
