O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to assign a light duty to the petitioner and to pay salary from 01.04.2022 to till date.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused all the materials placed before this Court. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking light duty to him by subjecting before Medical Board to verify his medical fitness, and to pass orders on merits 2/5

and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Insofar as the salary for the period from 01.04.2022, if the petitioner was in duty, the respondents are directed to consider the same and disburse the salary, if the petitioner is entitled to that.

With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
