The Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned Refusal Check Slip No. RFL / Magudanchavadi / 372 / 2024 dated 22.11.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to accept the settlement deed dated 22.11.2024.

2. A Refusal Check Slip has been issued directing the petitioner to produce the original parent document.

3. In the light of the Judgement passed by this Court in Ramayee - Vs - The Sub Registrar and others - (2020 (6) CTC 697), the impugned order cannot be sustained.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The 2nd respondent is directed to register the settlement deed dated 22.11.2024, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
