This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of the first respondent dated 18.08.2025 passed in Ref.Na.Ka.No.E7/8456/2024 dated 18.08.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner Association has repeatedly made representations to the respondents to allot the land measuring an extent of 20,000 sq.ft., situated in Taramani Village, Thanthai Periyar Nagar, Taramani, Chennai, to them for public purpose on the ground that the respondents decided to alienate the property in favour of private individual, however, the claim of the petitioner was rejected by the first respondent vide impugned order dated 18.08.2025.

Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the property which is sought to be allotted in favour of the petitioner Association is situated adjacent to the water body and the same cannot be allotted in favour of the petitioner Association or any individual party. The respondents have also no intention to allot the subject property to the petitioner Association or any individual.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 13.10.2025 NCC: Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No ssb To
