Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioner's online application dated 19.08.2024 and conduct the survey of the land admeasuring an extent of 1335 sq.ft. comprised in old 1/6

S.No.28/7, and new Survey No.28/11 situated in No.40, Puthupakkam Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvallur District and demarcate the boundaries by availing the assistant of the third respondent in the event of any obstruction from 4th respondent and erect fencing at the cost of the petitioner by considering petitioner representation dated 16.09.2025. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioner's online application dated 19.08.2024 and to conduct survey of the land admeasuring an extent of 1335 sq.ft. comprised in old S.No.28/7, and new Survey No.28/11 situated in No.40, Puthupakkam Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvallur District and to demarcate the boundaries by availing the assistance of the third respondent in the event of any obstruction from 4th respondent and to erect fencing at the cost of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 2/6

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused all the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owns land admeasuring an extent of 1335 sq.ft. comprised in old S.No.28/7, and new Survey No.28/11 situated in No.40, Puthupakkam Village, Aarani Taluk, Thiruvallur District. In order to survey the said land, the petitioner submitted an application before respondents 1 & 2 and also paid requisite fees for the same. So far respondents 1 & 2 did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the land belong to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

In view of the above, respondents 1 & 2 are directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by him, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the 3/6

surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
