Seeking to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1162 of 2020 pending on the file of the second respondent/Police and file a final report within a stipulated period of time, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.1162 of 2020, Referred Charge Sheet vide R.C.S.No.11 of 2020 dated 08.07.2024 was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mannarkudi.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
