ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a protective umbrella to protect his accommodation in dispute against which, lock and seal notice has been issued, and under challenge before the revisional authority.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though an application for stay has been filed, the same is still pending and the petitioner apprehends that the respondent authorities may lock and seal the premises.
3. The lock and seal notice was issued on 01.09.2025. The petitioner thereafter filed a revision under Section 80-A of the Tamil
Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, on 08.09.2025.
4. The revisional authority is directed to decide the stay application one way or the other within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that for a period of three weeks, they will not proceed to execute the lock and seal notice.
6. The petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.41484 of 2025 is closed. (MANINDRA MOHAN SHRIVASTAVA, CJ.)
