ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 768 days in filing the writ appeal.

2. Heard Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.P.Anandakumar, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the petitioners, Mr.P.I.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader for the second respondent.

3. The delay is 768 days. Counter affidavit has been filed and though this petition is opposed, having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, we are inclined to allow this petition on terms.

4. A sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only), being the cost, shall be paid by the petitioner/appellant to the respondents through the learned counsel appearing for the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt

of a copy of this order. On such payment being made, the present petition shall stand ordered.
