Respondent(s) PRAYER;This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to enquire into the complaint made by the petitioner dated 15.09.2025 and to direct the 6th respondent election officer to conduct the election in a free and fair manner after providing the entire voters list and to adjourn the election date from 29.09.2025 to any other convenient date fixed by this honourable court either by the 1st respondent himself or through his nominee or by an advocate commissioner appointed by this honourable Court to conduct 43rd General council meeting to be held at Salem on 29th September 2025 strictly in accordance with the accepted election norms.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to enquire into the complaint made by the petitioner dated 15.09.2025 and to direct the 6th respondent election officer to conduct the election in a free and fair manner, after providing the entire voters list and to adjourn the election date from 29.09.2025 to any other convenient date fixed by this court either by the 1st respondent himself or through his nominee or by an advocate commissioner appointed by this Court to conduct 43rd General council meeting to be held at Salem on 29th September 2025 strictly in accordance with the accepted election norms.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Dealer in Coimbatore and he is the life member of the 7 th and 8 th respondents Association. The present office bearers in the Association have been published the election for the Association on 29.09.2025 by appointing the th respondent as Election Officer. The 6 th respondent has published the list of 1978 life members as eligible voters in the official website of TNPDA portal on 08.09.2025. But the election officer has not provided me the voters list since the petitioner is entitled for the same. Without the list, the petitioner cannot campaign. Therefore, the petitioner made a complaint before the official respondents to conduct the election in a free and fair manner after providing the entire voters list and adjourn the election date and the same is not considered.
Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the last date for filing nomination for the election is on or before 19.09.2025 and to campaign for the elections to be held on 29.09.2025. The complete voters list is very much necessary and the election officer is not providing the voters list to the petitioner. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the official respondents to consider the petitioner's request and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted undertakes that he will instruct the 6 th respondent to consider the petitioner's request immediately.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel and perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse orders are passed against the private respondents and hence, notice to them is dispensed with.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 6 th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders
on 25.09.2025.
