This petition has been filed seeking to permit the petitioners to withdraw 50% of the award amount of Rs.6,50,000/- deposited by the 2nd respondent / appellant to the credit of MCOP.NO.412 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal / Special Officer - CumAdditional Sub-Judge, Puducherry in pursuant to interim order dated 26.09.2024 passed by this Court in C.M.P.No.20784 of 2024 in CMA.No.2618 of 2024, pending disposal of the first appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners / respondents 1 to 3 in CMA, this Court permits the petitioners to withdraw 50% of the award amount deposited by the appellant to the credit of Tribunal, if not already withdrawn by the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, this petition is ordered in above terms.
