ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.09.2025 and 15.09.2025 and grant permission for the placement of the Durga Idol and conduct Navarathiri Durga Pooja Celebrations and to provide necessary protection.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner is organizing Navarathiri Durga Pooja Celebrations for the past 24 years, this year, the petitioner's representations dated 19.09.2025 and 15.09.2025 have not been considered for grant of permission for the placement of the Durga Idol and conduct of Navarathiri Durga Pooja Celebrations, including its immersion on 02.10.2025, and to provide necessary protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that if the petitioner fully satisfies with all the requirements as per the last years proceedings of the Commissioner, dated 11.10.2024, the petitioner's representations will be considered.

4. In such view of the matter, there cannot be any different yardstick for this year. Therefore, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's representations dated 19.09.2025 and 15.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders immediately within a period of two days. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
