The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.08.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 126(2), 1/4

309(4), 311, 351(3) of BNS Act, in Crime No.538 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner waylaid the de facto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.800/- at knife point. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 16.08.2025. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the bail petition of the petitioner was already dismissed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24972 of 2025 dated 12.09.2025. He further submitted that the petitioner has 11 previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail 2/4

Considering the nature of the allegations, the fact that the petitioner has bad antecedents, taking into fact that already this Court, by order dated 12.09.2025, dismissed the Crl.O.P.No.24972 of 2025 filed by the petitioner, and there is no change in circumstances. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
