Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta to the name of Arya Vysya Samugam Sri Kannika Parameswari Temple, Panruti in respect of property bearing Old S.Nos.96/2, Ac.1.16 in Vadakailasam, Panruti Town, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District now been sub divided as new;

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta in the name of Arya Vysya Samugam Sri Kannika Parameswari Temple, Panruti, in respect of property bearing Old S.Nos.96/2, Ac.1.16 in Vadakailasam, Panruti Town, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District, now been sub divided and assigned new survey numbers, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2019 and the consequent report of the Town Sub-Inspector of Survey dated 14.02.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2019 and the consequent report of the Town SubInspector of Survey dated 14.02.2019.

3. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

4. Since this Writ Petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2019 and the consequent report of the Town Sub-Inspector of Survey dated 14.02.2019, 3/6

for issuance of patta, this Court without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents concerned to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.01.2019 and issue notice to the petitioner and the adjacent land owners of the four boundaries of the subject property and also to the rival claimants/interested parties/objectors if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law if already not passed orders, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
