ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner pursuant to the representation dated 1/3
25.11.2023.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as A1 in Crime No.26 of 2023 for the offences under Section 120B and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and the charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi. Further, the matter has been committed to the Third Additional District and Sessions Court, Virudhachalam and assigned S.C.No.146 of 2023.
4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered and the matter has been committed to the Sessions Court concerned, the question of "not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the trial.
5. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 04.1.2024 rka 2/3
