Side) Order This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to give police protection to enable the Government Surveyor to survey and fix the boundary to petitioner property situated in No.191, Uthandi Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpat District bearing plot No.420, VGP Golden Beach with in the registration District of Madras South comprised in Survey No.3/2B1 Part admeasuring 2400 Sq.ft.

2.The petitioner herein owned the vacant property situated \atn No.191, Uthandi Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpat District, bearing plot No.420, VGP Golden Beach, within the Registration District of Madras South, comprised in Survey No.3/2B1 Part, admeasuring 2400 Sq.ft., having purchased the same vide registered Sale Deed in Doc.No.1233/1986 dated 30.04.1986 through his Power of Attorney viz., V.S.Ramachandran. After the purchase of the land, all the revenue records were mutated and stand in the name of the petitioner. The subject land is a vacant land, and in order to develop the same, the petitioner visited the property. Since no survey was conducted, he approached the Survey Department and requested them to survey the land, fix the boundaries, and fence it as per the registered sale deed. While so, the respondent Nos.

5 and 6 along with a group of unknown persons, attempted to interfere with the petitioner's lawful possession of the subject property. With a view to legally demarcate the boundaries, the petitioner submitted an application before the fourth respondent, along with the requisite fee, to survey the land. Though the fourth respondent engaged the Surveyor to survey the disputed land, the respondent Nos.5 and 6 along with a group of unknown persons objected to the Surveyor surveying the petitioner's property. 3.In view of the above, if the Surveyor faces any difficulty at the hands of the unknown persons, he may seek police protection from the first respondent.
